This "homeless" bird tells the story of my night in downtown Memphis (while visiting Memphis on a business trip). Nearly every corner brought an encounter with a homeless person begging for money. They were very aggressive in their approach; coming up to us and putting their hand on our shoulder and/or shaking hands and "patronizing" us to get money. Another approached us and stated he was a homeless writer. He was selling an article he wrote.

This bird wandered away from the nest and was struggling to fly. I do wish I could have helped it back to its nest. However, the nest was nowhere in sight.
