SmugMug > popular > Journalism > Adventure Time; White dress, no problem! I was the second shooter this past weekend (wedding) and the family was one of the most exciting families ever to photograph. While the bridal party was being photographed, this little "flower girl" decided to adventure off on her own and I happened to turn and capture her on her little adventure. Also, I entered this in the smugmug contest "Freedom or Oppression" . What do you think?
SmugMug > popular > Journalism > 9.13.08 This is a shot from an engagement shoot I did earlier in the week. The skies were beautiful [in anticipation of the storms that soon followed] and the lake [Erie] displayed a beautiful glow. Some adjustments made in Lightroom 2.0.
SmugMug > popular > Journalism > 7.13.08 From a youth event I shot over the weekend. The group "The Last Epic" played for the youth. I applied a B&W preset in Lightroom to come up with this effect. The light was very challenging and I timed the shot when the lights passed on the right side of the guitarist to create this dimensional shot.

He said "sure"... after I snapped it I told him I would put it on the Internet for all to see. His response; "I'm holding you to it." It will be thirty years in October [08] that I declared those words to my lovely bride. {and I kept my promise :-] } I found this image on my HD and forgot I took it. Nearly thirty years and this ring is still a strong symbol of love. :-] Although the ring is tattered and worn, our love grows stronger each day.
