BTW, a friend of mine was telling me that even though you can disable "right click" so someone can't save your photo that way, your photo can still be taken off the site. He showed me this by emailing me my POTD yesterday about 3 minutes after I posted it. I suppose you all know this already, but I did not. I told him I should be so lucky that people want to steal my photos....lol...

My terrace garden is waning...although the basil still smells great...but Autumn was definitely in the air today...I am really bad about pulling out the dead plants and cleaning this up...I will get to it around Thanksgiving and still have dead plants there when I string some xmas lights in late December... I know..this is pretty lame for a photo of the day...

SmugMug > popular > Other > 7-28-08 Okay, folks, I am BACK! Sorry I've been gone for a couple of weeks, and thank you to all those who still stopped by and visited me here in smugmugland! (You know who you are. *grin*) It will take a few days to get everything up, but I DID take my daily photos while I was gone, so not to worry! They'll be up soon. This one is just a little taster. Architecturally, this is one of my favorite spots on the Vegas Strip. We stopped here for the night on our way to California for our big vacation/family reunion. I didn't visit as much of the Strip as I usually do because I was TIIII-IIIIRED! But I still caught some good ones, this being probably my favorite of the bunch. More soon, I promise! I just didn't want to leave you guys hangin' for TOO long. ;-)

I love these little guys, they look so happy, and for some reason they reminded me of the very famous poem, "Warning" by Jenny Joseph. It's the one that starts out . . . "When I am an old woman I shall wear purple With a red hat which doesn't go, and doesn't suit me. And I shall spend my pension on brandy and summer gloves And satin sandals, and say we've no money for butter."
