Thursday June 5th 2008 ~ Ok I have a good excuse besides the fact I am cameraless see this sad face :( that is a self portrait of me without a camera My excuse is we got 100ml of rain in 4 days 50 something of those ml we got in one day so since Friday last week this photo and the last one I posted have been the only photos I have had a chance to take and they were taken on the same day on a break in the rain if you can picture this Mumsy and me pull up at the canal decide we don't have the time in the rain break to pull out the pram so Mum carries camera and I carry Daniel thru what I thought was some wet grass I was WRONG It was more MUD than grass I nearly ended up on my BUTT more than once because it was the slippery variety anyway we get to here and I think I got to take 4 photos in rather quick succession while Daniel was wriggling Furiously in Grandma's arms trying with ALL his might to get on the ground and the before mentioned MUD (not gunna happen kid LOL)and it starts to rain again rather suddenly so Mum and I and the camera and the wriggly child have to get across all the slippery to the mud in this rather cold rain I am wearing rather soggy not to mention inappropriate shoes fpr the task and again nearly went over every step I took (hence the fact Mum gave me the baby back and she carried the camera she wasn't risking the camera to me lol) anyway I don't know how but I made it to the car in one piece and if that wasn't enuf of an effort when we got there Mum turns to me and say we have to go get her a daily now - WHAT!!!!! so now that you know how hard I have tried to get a daily - You know I have not given up - But you will have to excuse me if I post a few oldies over the next few days and excuse the crookered (is that how you spell it?) photo but it didn't matter which way we straightened it it looked queer so we left it as it was After all I went thru to get this pic and its UNSTRAIGHTENABLE oh well such is life HUGS
