SmugMug > popular > Other > June 15, 2008. Day 102. I took a lot of photos today in between bouts of rain. It seems I have a great deal to learn ( surprise, surprise). The photos look a lot better through the viewfinder than they do on my computer...they just don't seem crisp for lack of a better word. And I don't know what I am doing wrong. That said, I really like the new camera. I also have to decide on a decent photo storage/editing program. I am thinking of getting Aperture since I am a Mac person (for the last two years). I also have to decide how many photos to keep since I am keeping too many and am about to run out of memory on my MacBook, although I have enough on the IMac.
SmugMug > popular > Other > June 20, 2008: Summer has definitely arrived........113 Degrees today! So, I decided that a photo with water in it was the only way to go. Since I love water, rocks and reflections.....this one fit the bill. I adjusted the lighting slightly to brighten it up a tad and gave it a frame, but no other PP. The sun reflecting in the water added its own processing.

SmugMug > popular > Other > lightin em up 06/29/08 the car show was terrific and i can't wait to see whether anything i shot turns out close to what i was trying for. was very hot (for seattle anyway at about 87F) and humid and sis and i started a bit later than we thought we might so i missed about the last three blocks (out of 22) but caught this guy showing off for the people partying in the beer garden where my sis's boss and his friends were the band
