SmugMug > popular > Other > May 2, 2008 Staying up too late tonight playing! Technically it's May 2 anyway. I've always wanted to create a composite photo like this one, and finally had the opportunity at a recent senior portrait shoot. She was a great sport about experimenting. We took these at the elementary school that she attended, so it should be special to her. We had been shooting on the playground earlier.
SmugMug > popular > Other > new tech 07/15/08 this is a lousy pic but i'm too tired to care. this is what came fedex and i finally had energy and time to get it set up and running. should be no more tech troubles, for a while anyway :), hurray. this came to me out of the clear blue sky due to someone's great kindness and generosity! can still hardly believe it. this is about four or five orders of magnatude better than what i had and i guess now i have no excuse for anything any more except my own ineptitude ;-) i'll have some learing to do to properly use everything. sigh, hard for an old dedman to learn new tricks. blessings in great measure on the gift giver, wish i could find some word to express how ( - - - ) i feel. i shant ever forget and shall do my best to pay it forward. guess i'm done gushing or whatever i'm doing. thank you all for your kind wishes re the cold, i am gradually getting over it. summer time colds, we hates em forever
SmugMug > popular > Other > when 12" just won't do 05/27/08 the boss and i like to wear t-shirts when we work in the kitchen, (tween the woks, deep fryer and the dishwasher it can get like a steam bath. the record temp (with the air conditioner running) last summer in the kitchen was approx 112F) but he gets all the good ones given to him. the pizza place next door brought this over for him today but, as usual, nothing for yours truly. the cat in the window just slays me :-)

SmugMug > popular > Other > spaghetti 06/09/08 the shot is as uninspired as the sauce. needed garlic, celery, onions, mushrooms, olives and a bit of dried red chilis for a real good sauce but didn't have em and couldn't do the stairs today so i went with what i had...which is why you're getting my spaghetti today...because its what i have. thank you all for the kind well wishes. Lord willing i'll be ok in a day or two if this follows the usual pattern and i'm used to it so not as daunting as it might seem. the main thing i hate is that it messes with my language ability, verbal written typed whatever, (and also my senses) so i apologize if my comments have been garbled. hope you were able to figure out what i've meant
