SmugMug > popular > Other > I just happened to look out my back door and I caught this squirrel on my deck looking like she was doing a little squirrel dance!! She was actually looking up at my woodpecker bar, as you can see she has crumbs all over her!!
SmugMug > popular > Other > Monday 14th April 2008 ~ This afternoon we had a storm right on sunset these are the clouds on sunset - just as the moon first became visable just seconds before for the evening - the sky was pink red purple and brilliant orange I got some great pics which I plan on adding a few pics to my home album I will add the link when its done so you can see the amazing beauty I saw this afternoon right from my drive way :) "A Red sky in the morning is a shepherds warning a red sky at night is a shepherds delight" old superstition
SmugMug > popular > Other > October 9, 2008 C'mon in. The Water's Fine. Maybe today will be a productive day. After all, I had my POD by 3:00 am. The dog woke us up in the night and we let her out where she proceeded to chase this guy into the pool. It's proven to be a great method of armadillo catching for us in the past too. If it hadn't been 3:00, we would have put him into a crate for relocation, but instead we let him go. When we got him out he shook off like a cat, wandered in circles a bit, bumped into the patio table (they have very poor eyesight) and finally ran off. He'll be back to dig up my flower beds tonight, I'm sure. For those of you who have only seen these guys dead and upside down on the side of the road here's proof that living armadillos really do exist. Surprisingly they are very good swimmers too.

SmugMug > popular > Other > 9-7-08 This is, quite possibly, one of my favorite flower shots that I've taken...well, like EVER! I just LOVED that white against the dark blue, it was fascinating to me! This has become now one of my own personal favorites.
SmugMug > popular > Other > 7-21-08 Still trying to resist the temptation to take tons of flower shots all the time. :-) I haven't done a real "sparlies" shot for a little while, so I put this one together with my vast collection of pearl beads and this lovely little butterfly pin sparklie that I found at a local antique shop. (LOVE going antiquing! Lots of wonderful sparklies to be found in an antique store.) Sorry there's no real "bling" in the shot, I decided against using a star filter today, I preferred the warmth of the pearls to offset the cooler colors in the pin, it looked nicer to me.
