2008.08.09 (Sat) - Had a good day, got up early and spent time with Tom and Virginia. Tom took an afternoon nap and the four of us ran out to the Fernley Raceway to meet Mike from work. He was there racing motorcycles with family. I shot some photos but they really didn't turn out. Turns out I am not much of an action photographer. I'll post the few good ones when I get home tomorrow.

We were going to run to Reno but decided to return to Robin's dads to see if he was awake. He was so we hung out, ate dinner and then took off for Sparks later in the evening to shoot some cars. Parking was a nightmare, we finally got a spot but by the time we got to the cruise the light was no good. We got a few good shots before dark and then broke out the tripod.

I grabbed this shot just before we headed home.


Very tire, looking forward to bed. Until tomorrow,
