SmugMug > popular > Portfolio > stayed up last night and watched "into the wild" a wonderful, reflective and just beautiful movie. i am tired today. so tired.
SmugMug > popular > Portfolio > 2008.07.03 (Thu) Well, it was a virutal Friday, biked in by 7, wrapped up my remaining use cases by 3:30 and took off to start my 3 day weekend! I got to watch Peyton for a bit until Kayla got off work, then waited while B biked Bri home but no one was there when they arrived. She did not have the keys so they had to come back. I grabbed the camera and figured the 3 of us could run over to Mel's and grab some car shots until her mom got home to let Bri in. After grabbing this shot we ran to my parents and hung out with them for a while, then we left my parents and I pulled over to swapd spots with Brandon so he could get some practice driving stick. It finally clicked and he got the hang of it. I had him drive us out to Folsom to visit Robin for some more practice and then I realized we were not going to get Bri home on time. I decided to drive on the way back so we could make better time and we got Bri back by 10:01, I hope she didn't get in trouble. Robin just arrived home, gotta run! -Darron

SmugMug > popular > Portfolio > chuck taylors suit my older son so well. he looks so cool in them (these are his second pair-his feet are growing so fast!) of course, he's got red socks on too. always red socks even when they don't match everything else he's wearing. the boy loves red.
SmugMug > popular > Portfolio > 2008.07.06 (Sun) - Lazy day, skipped church this morning for a small mens book study, picked up B and Bri after their youth services. Robin was working so I took them to lunch at, where else, Taco Bell. After that we ran to Fry's to pick up some network and HDMI cables and returned home to hook up more equipment. B & Bri started a movie, I fell asleep. After we got up we hung out a while and then I took them both out to Cool River Pizza for dinner. Then we ran out to Folsom to see Robin. We did some grocery shopping and then headed home. After Robin got off we all watched a movie together. The movie was good (The Other Boleyn Daughter) but of course we knew how it was going to end. The cinematography was excellent, really looked good on the new HDTV. After dropping Bri off at home I came home and needed to grab a shot. We have a small wooden box that we store the remotes in, it was polished and looked good in the room light so I grabbed this shot using my new bean bag "tripod" to steady the camera.
