SmugMug > popular > Portraits > 12/9 Day 229. This is an old tractor in the middle of Waxhaw, NC. Which used to be quite a farming town, but has grown exponentially in the last few years. So with the growth of the town, this tractor seems so out of place. It's still great to see these things sitting around, though, I think it brings such cool character to the town. This may be a better crop HERE. But it doesn't take away the white at the nose of the tractor - that's true! Thanks for the comments everyone!

SmugMug > popular > Portraits > 1/19 (II) Day 270. We celebrated my dh's birthday this evening. Of course - I get a photo of baby girl instead - but how can you not take a photo of this cutie! Look at that pout. I'm not sure why she's so sensitive, but she almost started to cry when we sang "Happy Birthday" to daddy. Such a silly girl.

What an amazing race! Since I wasn't about to drag my camera with me on the run (HA - can you imagine?) we went over it again that evening and I took this photo. You can see the fog floating around it.

My son got his first stitches... 2 next to his eye. You can't see the booboo in this photo (other eye), but the only ones I got were a little yucky. But - he'll be fine... just a really LONG day.
