A quick shot of (one of) my favorites sun(s) on the backyard's bed. I played with higher contrast on Picasa. See original color shot I think it's silly, but this image reminds me with the 3D poster that I used to have back in '90s. I kindda like it... maybe because this sun looks sleepy too!

I was out walking, during my stay in Hawaii; this was the only 'pretty pooch' shot that I managed to get!!

SmugMug > popular today > Day 200 - Somethings Burning Not only a good tune by Kenny Rogers and the First Edition, but the skies in Halifax. How can you tell its hurricane season. The skies are starting go red. Makes you wonder about that old wive's tale "Red sky at night, sailor’s delight. Red sky in morning, sailor’s warning”. I guess this one mean wicked lighting, wind, and downpours of rain were on the way. :) Funny thing, I was about to light up the BBQ, when I saw the sky. There were two lads stretching in the field, must of got back from walking the trails. When I told Barb "Did you see the sky!". The two boys looked up, and it was like someone hit them with a clue bat. Doh! The one boy took a double take, and quickly ran up the hill for a clear shot with his cell phone. The other boy said, cool, take one for me. ... umm.. ok.. :) Spet 04 2008
SmugMug > popular today > red, white and blue (sorta) 09/05/08 there were three large (four feet across at least) bunches of these in planters by the bus stop i was waiting at. with the nice bright sun on them they looked so pretty and i'm a sucker for red, white and blue so managed to shoot about a dozen snaps before the bus arrived. good thing i did as this was the only one that turned out half well (it was quite windy as well as sunny) and was the last one i shot. have a great week-end y'all
