This photo was taken shortly before us Expats headed "Home for Christmas". To be "Home For Christmas" has a special meaning even when living in a beautiful foreign land.
SmugMug > popular today > 12/25/09 - Santa Came! Santa Came! Merry Christmas to all my friends out there in the SmugMug community! The kids and I baked chocolate chip cookies last night and set out a plate for Santa:-) The kids had both brought home reindeer food from school: http://www.smugmug.com/community/DailyPhotos/popular/today/1/748672035_ktbYn#748707324_6A3SY and that was sprinkled on the front lawn. Then Joey wrote this note, "for Santa, P.S. I left some Reindeer food out side." Sweet! The kids are not up yet but due any minute:-) Purple Santa paper for Johnny and blue Santa paper for Joey. There's a bit more on the other side too. Dad was supposed to come yesterday, but he was not feeling well enough to travel. That is a sadness for us, but nothing we can do but call and wish him the best over the phone later. Thanks for all your support and encouragement this year! Has not much to do with Christmas... but we're not that much into the Christmas mood this year. But that doesn't mean that I don't want to wish all of you here at the dailies a very Merry and Peaceful Christmas... this is still is a wonderful community!!! Be well my friends!

It just had to be my Christmas card for the Dailies this year. I can't remember the last time we had snow on the ground on Christmas day here, so this is a special year :)
