SmugMug > popular today > December 30, 2009 - "Winter At Blossom Prairie" This was shot late yesterday afternoon (5pm) as another unusual December snowfall started but dissipated about 1 hour later. Wagon trains once stopped atop this hill in a area then called Blossom Prairie in Texas on their way to California. I have changed something in this picture and I wonder if you can tell For the locals this was taken on the Yorktown tour roads Give up? here is a hint, original shot Original What the shot is a reflection in a large puddle of water that I was standing in. (almost got wet). I captured a group of shots as I liked the feel of the sky in the water. I then flipped the canvas 180 for this altered perspective.
