SmugMug > popular today > "BERRIES Bear" September 3rd,2008....This grizzly was searching for berries bushes and enjoying herself as berries are everywhere in fall at Grand Tetons National Park,Wyoming....in North America..For the record this is one of the famous 399 Cubs grown up now...Captured september,2008 in the hills of wilderness....used nikon 300 mm wildlife lens..aprox distance between me and the bear was about 150 feet...the only captivity of this image that bear is captive in wilderness of wyoming...of a great ole USA

SmugMug > popular today > 9/3/08 I had jury duty in downtown LA today, although I ended up postponing it so it won't interfere with my trip to Providence and Boston next week. Stay tuned for fun New England photos! Anyways, I saw this great spiky tree with bright pink flowers and I was able to use the Wells Fargo and Bank of America buildings as a backdrop. I'm not too pleased with the photo quality, but I still love my compact SD400. Sure, the flowers aren't super sharp and the sky isn't as uniform as my D80 would have captured it, but I wouldn't have gotten the shot at all if I hadn't been carrying the little guy.
