SmugMug > popular today > 2008.05.13 - Day 31 : Irene makes another appearance here. I wanted to see what I could get with a long exposure and lighting from only the computer monitor. In post processing i ended up with something that I thought was kind of interesting. To me it has a somewhat vintage look and texture.

SmugMug > popular today > 14 May 08 Yes Schmoo, I fixed it in post :) Every day is check your settings day; It's on timer... oh it's not. It's on repetive shooting... oh it's not (x10). Today we (me and Schmoo.)visited Amsterdam. Even though I live relatively close, I rarely ever go there so it was nice to see it as a 'tourist'. We had a great time with the fisheye again, it really is a lot of fun.

SmugMug > popular today > This Towhee has a patch in a quiet part of Jericho park. On numerous occasions he has flown over in my direction and landed on a branch while calling out. As I move off through his turf he follows very closely, sometimes 3 or 4 feet away,calling all the time. I eventually figured out that what he is doing was ground feeding where I walked. I guess I would stir up the leaf litter exposing bugs and seeds. Probably more than half of all my shots of Towhees are of this friendly fella. I always enjoy going up to pay him a visit.
