ROSEATE SPOONBILL
This guy was way out on a mangrove tree at Merritt Island...Black Point Drive for those who have been there. These guys never hold still when feeding, Skimming their big spoon-shaped beaks back and forth through the water constantly...Tough bird to photograph sometimes. He's a little over exposed out there, but you have to take 'em as you see them... Not like Gail's beauty in the air, but I'm happy to have a photo of one that is in focus...lol
