SmugMug > popular today > Three similar views made beautiful by the light. This was taken in the afternoon facing southwest. I turned around and shot the other view to the east but it's not as pretty. The open water, surrounded by snow and the lovely light produced some nice shots.

SmugMug > popular today > Something a little different for today - 26 Jan 08. I wanted to get closer for a better photo. The wire fence looked rather inconsequential when compared to the size of this beast. And I wasn't about to wade through deep snow as she already seemed irritated.
